Hi and welcome to my BD-5B build up. After selling my original kit,I found a advertised 95% complete kit for $2200 with a 650cc hirth engine. well after driving 18 hours to get it and getting home after inventorying every thing it was actually about.. 50% complete, kinda a big dissappointment. Well 2 months went by with no work done b/c i was disgusted by the plane then i found a project for sale locally. The fuselage had been jig drilled, stretched and cutouts peformend by BD-micro, wings were ready to close, ailerons completed, flaps ready to close, Horizontal stabilators 85% complete, vert. stab and rudder complete, and absolutely EVERYTHING needed to finis the plane and then some more extra parts. I drove to pick it up and inventoried the kit before leaving and was please to know it was actually 95% complete w/ a drive system (only thing missing is engine install stuff). so i packed it up and off we went to come back home. And here i am updating my old page with the new project pictures. I plan on leaving everything from the old project up as a reference to other builders
