Horizontal Stabilizer

Right Lower Aft Skin Drilled
Finished drilling the right lower aft skin tonight. Both aft skins are now installed and the lower skins are cleco'd. The stabilator is finally starting to resemble an airplane part. :-)

Laid out the .300" reference line for the forward skins using a strap duplicator as described by Mike Tucker (search the RANSCLAN archives for specifics). Worked like a charm and highly recommended process.

Finished up by flipping the stab into a vertical position to check the rib alignment on the upper skins (everything lines up well).
Right lower aft skin drilled to #40
.300" reference line drawn on aft skins for proper alignment of nose skins
Spotted in the neighborhood was a rare S-19 Stabilicus Porcupinicus.....Hey we have to have a little fun!! :-)
