Here are a few pictures of the new paint job. We had N86JV painted by Matthews Aviation in Yerington Nevada.

This is an RV-9A. Soon, all the pieces and parts that have come by truck, mail and u-haul will fly together in tight formation as N86JV.

Here I am with having a drink of bubbly next to N86JV after the second flight on 9/18/05.

We are building the RV-9A from a "Quickbuild" kit. This kit comes with a significant amount of work completed on the wings and fuselage. This still meets the FAA's Experimental Amateur Built status which means that the builder must build 51% of the aircraft.

Here is the planned panel. We will be using this airplane to commute to work so light to moderate IFR is the name of the game.
