Great work Sid. I sold my KR2 7 years ago and still miss her..so I lurk round the fringes of KRdom getting my kicks from the endeavours of others! Notice your elevator mass balance -is this a new mod? Don't think I've seen it before. Regards, Mac

Sid, I want to have a mixture meter for 100LL. Is the fouling immediate? Can it be cleaned off? Is this a practical idea at all? Thanks.

Sid, I like your web site. Very informative and with lots of information. I've got a KR2 underway in a hangar at our local airport here in Lima, Ohio (Allen County - AOH). I'm on the verge of starting it up and taxiing it around without the wings on it. The wings are currently on saw horses and I'm putting some filler on them to smooth them out. I've got a web site link on the KRnet page if you care to take a look. Keep up the good work and thanks for all of the pictures of yours.

I am looking at a partially built KR-2. The boat is done but it includes just about everything else to finish it minus engine and avionics. It is tailgear and retracts and I am going to convert to tri-gear like you did. A lot of good info on your site. Thanks for taking the time to out it up. I have wanted to build one for many years. It is a shame it is too fast for LSA.

Sid: Best of luck with the kr2! I think I met you at a PAX airshow where you were displaying the Curtis project. I'd love to see your shop and kr2 some time, as I am considering a joint project with my 22yr-old son. By the way, thanks for your support of Young Eagles and the St. Mary's CAP squadron, which made all the difference in motivating my son during his most difficult teen years!

Opps...obviously that should have read..."flying your plane". It's very early here (5:54 a.m.), so I'm not quite awake. :-)

Hi Sid, I'm impressed that you stuck with your dream for so many years and are still going for it after raising a family. What an inspiration!! My husband is afraid his RV-7 will never be finished now that we have a two year old and a 7 week old! Your site looks great - keep up the good work!
