About Sean
My name is Sean Blair.
I am currently studying for my Private Pilot's Certificate. It may seem early to also build a Van's RV-10 aircraft at this point, but it is teaching me so much more than I could ever learn from a book.
I have never built anything like this before and initially was somewhat concerned. Now that I've gotten a little farther down the road I feel good about what I've accomplished and confident in finishing the kit.
Travel is a regular part of my job. This has slowed my progress, but I'm enjoying the process regardless of the speed.
Selling my Harley was tough, but worth it to get such a great airplane and a once in a lifetime experience.
This project is also a great motivator to lose weight. This is an issue when trying to fly and so far I've dropped over 80 pounds from 2-17-2005 thru 12-31-2005. My goal is 100 pounds (that is over 16 gallons of fuel) by my one year anniversary. I might make it!
