My dad was great to help me build a rock solid bench last time he was here for a visit. Twenty people could stand on this thing and it wouldn't make a sound.

I was in a hangar last time I built (RV-10), but this time I've elected to do as much at home as possible. This will of course save some $$$ and be a lot more convenient.

I've spent quite a bit of time setting things up for this. I first had to insulate the walls and roof, then sheetrocked the remaining areas not covered when the home was built.

I hope the measures I've taken cover the noise well enough for the neighbors. We'll see how that goes.
