Working The Skins
This is an update from Rans on how to bend the leading edges of all the S-19 skins.

"Just form the LE in this fashion until it flows nicely over the ribs. I'm not sure if there is anything specific to this LE in the manual but it is common place to do this on all bent skin edges throughout building the S-19. Also if you find it necessary to shim in places to get your skins to lay nicely please do so. We are not opposed to this practice at all. There are a few shims here and there on the prototype."

The flanges (sides) of the rear spar should not be drilled out to #30 until the rear skins have been fitted.

Transfer Drilling the Vertical Stabilizer Rear Spar
Make sure that you don't transfer drill to #30 the flanges of the rear spar as seen in the photo until the rear skins have been fitted. It will make fitting the rear skins a lot harder.

Actually no holes where skins attach should be transfer drilled until skins have been fitted anywhere.

Locating Nut Plate Mounting Holes
Some of the nut plate attach points don't have the #40 holes pre-drilled and this is how I located and drilled them. Mounting the nut plate by using an old AN3 bolt and washers I lined it up horizontally along the part to ensure that the holes pre-drilled in floorboard for the rivet heads would be correct and drilled the mounting holes #40.
