Welcome to my RV-8 construction log where I will attempt to document the major steps towards a lifelong dream.
It will be a long process periodically interrupted by job changes, family commitments, and funding shortfalls, but I can't finish if I never start.
An old Chinese proverb says that, "a journey of a thousand miles began with a single step." That first step for me was ordering the RV-8 empennage kit.
The RV-8 pictured is similar to my intended paint scheme. Being a Naval Aviator, I am partial to the dark blue WWII paint schemes of the Hellcats and Corsairs.
