This is what our project will hopefully look like, with a different paint scheme of course.
WELCOME TO OUR RV9A PROJECT WEBSITE
Thanks for visiting my RV9A builder’s log. Although when my Father-in-law and I first set out on this project, we had hoped to have her flying by February 2009, this hasn’t quite happened. We aren’t disappointed of this, as times and priorities change, and sometimes our flying hobby has to give a little. In our case, my wife and I moved from Surrey, BC to Edmonton, AB, and have since received a baby daughter via stork delivery. Part of the impact of this move to Edmonton was that my wife and I bought my father-in-law out of the project (though not exactly his preference, which we fully understand).
In any case, it is now February 2010 as I am reviewing my pages, and rewriting some of these to bring the world up to speed. The aircraft is a good 80% complete, with just 75% to go…no, not a miscalculation. When you get to this point in your project, you’ll understand. We hope to give her a first flight in a year or two, finances permitting.
