Pitts S1S ZK-FRJ was damaged in a landing accident after hooking a fence wire landing on a private strip in May 2003. I purchased the wreck from the insurer and proceded to look at the options of rebuild or use the engine and parts for my RV7. As time went by I have decided to rebuild the Pitts and also complete the RV7 although I will have to buy another engine now. unfortunately the Pitts is in Nz and I am in Dubai so it gets sporadic attention.
