Currently working on:
Final welding details on fuselage and seat cushions (8-9-09)
All of the structural welding is complete on the fuselage. The torque tubes are installed, front seat frame fit. Gear legs and tail feathers are done.
To do before powdercoating airframe:

Throttle cable aft end mount
Throttle rod guide
Bracket for brake option
Fabricate elevator control assembly
Drill vertical fin, brake lever
Gusset at front wing attach
Finish fitting brakes to gear legs
Rudder pedal spring washers
Assembly of right wing is close to being done but currently on hold til the weather warms up a little. (1-13-09)
Ribs are attached to the spars, all of the compression struts and drag braces are in place as well as their gussets. Trailing edge of aileron is on along with the gussets on the top and bottom. Aileron spar web is in, as well as the aileron nose ribs. Cross pieces in between the trailing edge and aileron spar web are in. Fuel tank floor support diagonals, fuel tank floor, etc are all done. All of the nose ribs are on the front spar. Front side of front spar as well as all of the nose ribs are varnished and the leading edge skin is on. Wing strut fitting and wing attach fitting on the front spar have been installed, as well as a nut plate for the jury strut bracket. Aileron has been cut off and fit to wing. Trailing edge on the top and bottome of the ribs has been installed.
Still need to do on the right wing before cover:
Install aileron leading edge skin. Fabricate fuel tank hold down parts. Varnish the rest of the wing. Install fuel tank and fitting in fuel tank. Fit fiberglass wing tip. Paint the fittings that have not been installed yet. Install strut fittings, wing attach fittings on rear spar and jury strut fitings on both spars.
