First Flight!
December 3rd, 2006 at around 10am, N234C took to the sky's under the capable hands of test pilot Robbie Attaway. I followed with Darwin Barry in his RV-7. Robbie reported that 234C flies straight and level with no heavy wing tendency. After 16.5 months and a little over 2000 hours the project became an airplane!

And now the fun starts :-)

Pictures to follow shortly.

Interior and Panel
The interior is The Aviator by Aero Classics. The panel sports a Dynon 180 FlightDeck EFIS/EMS, TrueTrak Digiflight IIVS Autopilot, SL40 com radio, GTX 327 Transponder and a Garmin 496 GPS. .

En-route from Watsonville, California to Phoenix

Yeah baby! this is what it's all about; cheesy grins!
Happy to be in front of the storm that was coming in here.

RAF2000 Gyro Plane

This is what I built a few years ago
It's an RAF 2000 Gyro-plane. I had lots of fun building this but after I had flown it for a while I got kind of bored with it, it was great for zooming around town at low level but it was too slow to really "go" anywhere far. That's why I decided to build a high-performance fixed wing, the RV-7. With a cruise speed of about 200mph it will get me there fast, and with aerobatic capabilities; I'm pretty sure I won't get bored!
