Highlander by Central Florida Sportair, LLC
I HAVE BEEN WORKING SO HARD ON THE AIRPLANE I HAVEN'T UPDATED MY SITE FOR A LONG TIME. THE TARGET IS OSHKOSH AND AS YOU CAN IMAGINE WE ARE BURNING MIDNIGHT OIL SO I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE SHOW. I WILL EVENTUALLY POST ALL MY WORK FOR EVERYONE TO CHECKOUT.
I fell in love with the Highlander the first time I saw it and have been steadily moving closer to owning/building it ever since. Having started my flying at an early age most of my mentors flew taildraggers, and I was lead to believe that only REAL pilots flew tailwheel. I checked out in a Corbin Baby Ace in the spring of '85. Yes, it is a single seat, but being the best flight instructor in the world, who better to learn from LOL. Since then I have flow many more tailwheel airplanes with even greater instructors then myself, and I can't wait to fly my Highlander. As far as the building part, I have turned wrenches longer than I have flown and built boats, cars and farm machinery, so why not an airplane.
