At the present time this is my color scheme of choice...the big orange pumpkin!
The SPORT PILOT REALITY CHECK
The Sonex has been my airplane of choice to build for the last several years. I've been working on the airplane on and off since the fall of 2002.
My Sonex, serial number 393 is a plans built project for the most part. I did purchase the formed aluminum kit and spar caps, main spar webs and leading edge skins. Sonex #393 has wings, flaps, and ailerons completed. The vertical stabilizer and the vertical fin and rudder are also completed. I recently purchased the fuselage parts to help speed up the build process over the fall and winter. My airplane will have dual sticks and be a tail dragger.
Sonex #393 will be powered by an Aerovee engine.
