Using a file, I deburred all the holes on the components and the inside of the elevator and trim tab skins. Lightly scuffed the parts with a scotchbrite pad. Then took all the parts (except the skins) down to the basement for hanging on the wire rack for priming. While they were drying, I went upstairs and did a quick priming job on the insides of the skins along the rivet holes. A bit smelly, but the door stayed closed and the windows cracked open to ventilate the room overnight.
