The ramp is now taking shape after several bending sessions on a brake.
The outside of the port baffle has an angle that has several notches to make it fit
Here are the lower supports for the port baffle.

Baffling And Cooling

Port ramp is coming together
This week I finally dove into the port ramp. I fortunatly had a friend who has a sheet metal brake so I could get some decent angles put on the parts from the kit. The bends provided are just a starting point so I did some serious bending to get things more inline. By sunday I had the port ramp mostly done and placed the center baffle in position so I could get the attachment angles in place. I had to make my own brackets as the kit does not provide enough angle material. I started the starbaord side sunday evening but decided to call it quits and go to dinner. This next week I will concentrate on the stbd side. You have to put on and take off the cowl several times to get things in shape. You need to establish the side bend toward the cowl inlet first to trim the bottom ramp on the outside to match. Trim it roughly and then trim to final angle after final angles get bent. Then work both the lower ramp and the center vertical (between the two ramps) to get the parts in their proper position. Your cowl entrance openings are the target. My next question is the alminum baffleing is square in shape and the opening from the cowl is rounded. How do you get the two together in a leak proof system?
