Wing-lighting ceremony
Had a group of friends come over in our unusually warm October weather to have a picnic and celebrate the completion of the wings. A 'wing-lighting ceremony' took place after we toted the wings out onto sawhorses in the driveway and applied power to each system - landing lights, strobes, and position lights. Each was accompanied with a toast. Packed up the wings in their cradle (after reinforcing it) the next day to their temporary home at Manassas Airport.

Pack 'em up for their trip to the airport. Son-in-law Mark came by to help stabilize things.
