Tiger enjoyed when I worked out in the garage over the winter as I would turn on the heat for him and he always wanted to get in the cockpit with me while I was soldering! Finally. I put a pillow on the sponson and he settled down.
Not a bad smile. But this was before I found the battery dead, winds came up and poor taxi characteristics!
Aircraft arrives at a real airport
First time the Catalina was taken to an actual airport. Managed to do some radio and taxi tests before loading back on the trailer. John Taylor caught a good smile on me!
