I used to live in SJ and fly out of RHV. I have stories about john pyle. Congrads on getting him to pass you. I also started a RW90 project in 2004. Its a slow process isnt it? Excellent website. Keep it going. BW -eric- From Eric Leuty

mber of them in the UK - including 've read all I've read all your entries and found it very interesting. It's a real true story of how long one of these projects take. I've been following the Rotorway story since the 1960's. From Mike Walling

Nice Site! Good info. Hope to see you at Groveland next year. I'm still on phase A of my Rotorway. Hope to finish before I'm too senile to fly. Take care John From John Golbinec

Hi!
Would I like to know the price of the kit of the helicopter Rotorway Exec 162F Helicopter, because I liked your desing and assembly easiness a lot and if you sell the kit for part?
Thank you.

Im interested in building a rotoway 162 also.
I live in Capitola, just over the hill from you
Would really like to talk to you about your project, it look great and I bet its a lot of fun to have your own helicopter.
Want to learn more about flying helicopters, since imp not a helicopter pilot yet.
I thought it would be a lot less expensive to have your own helicopter to take lessons in.
Wondering if you know anything about that part of it or were you already a helicopter pilot
Hope we can talk soon.

Congrats Rich on your solo! Although it feels strange not having your instructor next to you its a great feeling. Although fixed wing is a lot of fun, I've always wanted to fly helos. Im considering going tomorrow to the closest helo school to get the feel for it. They have the R22 and 44's. I've been up in Blackhawks (was in the AF), and it was a blast, especially when you land in the middle of nowhere, get out to do your duty and just look back at the beast sitting there still spun up. I'm actually tossing around the idea of seeing if I can get a age waiver (35 yo) and go in and fly Apaches or whatever they will let me fly. Anyhow...
Whats your general feeling on the quality of the Exec kit? Ive read some comments about the belt systems not being reliable, but I think thats pretty much coming from second hand gossip. I'm considering moving back towards CO or NM, so I think I'll wait til then and deliver the kit to myself as well.
Good luck and have fun! From Roger Prior

Hi Rich Project looks as if it is coming along. I also have a 162F project, just now getting ready to start back in. Homer Bell lives 45 minuets from my shop and has been here twice. I will continue with the builder assistance to move things along a bit faster. Any way, feel free to contact me if you wish. I have my project at mykitlog.com search for my name or Rotorway and you should be able to find my site. See you for now. Tom Volz Ohio From Thomas Volz
