Today between working on trim trucks and covering hay I glassed the left strake bottom leading edge. I will have to do some micro work to make it look right. I also glassed a stiffner of carbon fiber on the inside of the turtle deck over where the gull wing door opens. When I would get in and out of the back fuselage I noticed that I would lean on the back of the turtle deck. It would flex quite a bit more than I thought it should so I shaped a piece of 3/8" pvc foam and covered it with 4 layers of carbon fiber tape. I hope this will stiffen up this area so it will not flex so much.
