Despite warnings from everyone but a few I've decided to try to make a wingtip COM antenna. We'll see in a year or so if it works...
The Quick Build Fuse is on it's side using a tripod arrangement.

Panel coming together
Well, I have been able to test the XCOM 760, Garmin 430 and pictoral Pilot autopilot. All function well. Here is a picture with the altimeter and ASI sitting in the panel to show what it will look like. Blue Mountain Avionics EFIS lite will go in the middle.
The engine is ON
OK, I got my engine on Oct 5, 2005. It took a day to build at the shop in Winchester, VA, then about a day to put the mount on the plane and engine on the mount. shown here after about 2 months of work hooking up the varous stuff.
