Hello, I live in Clarkston, Mi and get over to Port Huron mostly in the summer. I became interested recently in the Rans S19 and wondered if you allowed others to stop in and see what your project looks like first hand. Proper communication would be respected of course. Thank you, Pat Hendren From Pat Hendren

I am sure you will be happy with the Rans kit. I am curious though as to why you chose an S19 when you already own an RV9A?
Are you not happy with the RV9?
Or were you just looking for a project and didn't want to build an RV since you already had one?
Have you flown in the S19? If so, how does it compare to your RV9A? From Eric Johnson

Hi Bayne,
Just found your web site. I have owned N1501X for a year and have loved every minute of it. I purchased it from a Delta pilot in Pine Mtn. GA. It took a fair bit of $$$ to get it to the condition I wanted but it looks great. It was good to see your history of owning it.

The local fbo that I previously rented a Tecnam Sierra sold that plane. I just discovered the S-19. I sure like the looks and design of this plane. How are you doing with your project? From Don Smith

Thanks for a very comprehensive log. All the very best energy to you as you progress to the finished machine. I'm wondering if you had a chance to fly the S19 before building. I'm especially interested in learning your opinion of it's handling qualities (control harmonization) versus your RV9. i.e. did you experience the same GRIN in the S19? I instructed in Grumman AA1B's back in the 70's, and despite a few limitations really loved flying them. The S19 reminds me of them but with the limitations of the AA 1B eliminated. Again enjoy the process, it is looking really good. From Warren Loone

I am interested in building a Rans S-19 as well. I haven't ordered anything yet. I am watcing you builders to see how it goes. I am concerned about the availability of engines and avionics. I would very much like to fly an S-19 before I buy. Any suggestions you might have wouls be appreciated. From Bill Huch

help instructions call out for rib #7 on front Vertical spar to be at 71 degrees. But looking at pictures of yours they look to be more like 107 degrees, are my eyes playing tricks on me what am I missing? From russ sides
