Arrival of the Yard homebuilders toolkit
The arrival of the first shipping of tools from the Yard (www.yardstore.com). We chose for the Yard because of the price of their Homebuilders kit but it turned out to be a good one. The shipping to Europe is excellent: when we order something on friday it comes in at monday or tuesday. Similar shippings from Avery or Cleaveland mostly take more time, because you get a letter from customs to pay the taxes first and after that they send it home from Amsterdam airport. That whole process takes 2 weeks most of the time.
During the project you find out that you need more tools on a regular base: drills in various sizes, reamers, 2 more cleco-pliers etc. etc.
Most of the tools are special aircraft tools or have American sizes so you'll have to order them by internet & creditcard. Some other tools are more common so we buy them from local suppliers.
