Seats And Supports
Riveted rear seat back support.
I bounced around a little bit this evening. I am still waiting for the fuel lines I ordered two weeks ago which I need to finish the fuel line routing in the cockpit. In the meantime, I'm looking for other things to get done.
First i put on the rudder cable exit fairings I had made a while back. I copied Sam Buchannans design I found on his sight. I used small blind rivets to attatch them and in hindsight would probably have been better off using larger 1/8" rivets. I also had a little interference between the tail of the rivets and the rudder cable clamp bracket inside the tail.
After that, I installed the adel clamps to hold the nylon tubing in place that guides the rodder cables through the last bulkhead and out through the fuselage skin.
Next I finished blind riveting the rear seat back support. Nothing tricky, just a lot of squeezing with the pop rivet tool.

Here is the exit fairing after I riveted it in place.
The two rudder cable guides clamped in place. Kinda hard to get at to install them.
The seat back support. I'm going to use the Classic Aero Designs seats, so since they supply there own seat backs, I didn't build the ones that came in the kit.
